We strive to make balanced and subtle wines that represent Oregon’s unique viticulture. We only produce small-lot handmade wines. Our 2023 production was 20 tons, which will yield about 1200 cases.

We make red, white, rosé and sparkling wine from Pinot noir, Auxerrois, Chardonnay and Pinot gris. We perform our own vineyard management, because it is that important to the final wine quality.

We believe in absolute minimal chemical intervention in the cellar. Wild yeast, low SO2, no fining, filtering or additions.

We make boutique wines, and sell them at fair prices.


Akiko Shiba is our winemaker and co-owner.
Akiko received her engineering degree in Enology and Viticulture from the University of Geisenheim in 2009. Akiko's practical experience is split between the vineyard and cellar as well as between Germany and Oregon. Amongst the wineries where Akiko has gained her practical experience are in Oregon: Evesham Wood, St. Innocent, Ayres and Domaine Serene. In Germany: Franz Keller, Schamari-Muehle, Heyl zu Herrnsheim, Chat Sauvage and Rudolph Fuerst.'

Before her career change to the wine industry Akiko graduated from the prestigious Keio University and worked in Tokyo as an editor and journalist in the food and drink sector.
