Mis Tacones is home cooking, we are highlighting Mexican and Chicano streetfood culture inspired by Los Angeles and Baja California Mexico. Like our tias y Abuelita’s taught us, our food is always made from scratch. Mis Tacones is a celebration of our roots, our culture, and our love of our family. Siempre vegano con mucho amor.

I look at cooking as an art form, an artist pours their heart into their craft as we do with food, our identities as immigrants and children of immigrants, definitely take shape in the dishes we make. As a vegan, it is important to preserve the flavors, passed down by our ancestors and it’s also important to spread the word of compassion and respect for the animals we share our planet with.
