We specialize in Authentic West African cuisine such as food like peanut butter stew, fufu, plantains, cassava, okra stews, and more. We also sell AKÂDI Sauces — an authentic West African staple. They are vegan and gluten-free, offering unrivaled versatility and flavor to enhance any meal. Customers often describe them as so delicious they're tempted to savor them alone.

I was raised by my Grandmother, Felicisima, and in our family we scratch-cooked most every meal.

I attended Johnson and Wales Culinary School in Charleston SC for a few years, which inspired me about the science of cooking. I spent most of the following years in other careers but kept cooking as a way to connect to my cultures and explore techniques that weren’t taught in culinary school.

Taking time to learn from my AAPI community and family has been monumental in my journey.
