At TASTE for Equity, we believe that every voice holds value, that celebrating our differences unites us, and that every story deserves a spotlight. We believe that when we join together, we become an unbreakable community capable of change, organizing and connecting for equity wherever we gather.

A NEW BRAND FOR A

STRONGER COMMUNITY

Japanese cuisine assortment including sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri on a wooden platter, garnished with green herbs and served with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.

As our community continues to grow, we are proud and excited to launch our new brand — an inviting, vibrant celebration and renewal of our mission to forge connections that inspire action. This new look builds on and strengthens the foundations of TASTE For Equity as we expand our capabilities and support of BIPOC makers in 2024 and beyond. This wouldn’t have been possible without the team of passionate BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ creators involved, led by our volunteer Marketing Committee and our agency partner Happylucky. Thank you all!

TASTE FOR EQUITY GALA 2024

The TASTE for Equity Gala is more than a celebration of the progress we make in our tireless fight for equity—it offers re-inspiration for the fight, joy and gratitude when we need it, and new connections that inspire action. Join us on November 15, 2024 as we shine a spotlight on the ways Oregon’s food and wine industry is leaning into love without fear, honoring the contributions of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ chefs, winemakers, poets, musicians, local equity heroes, and community members. All proceeds from event sponsors and ticket sales support our local culturally specific and equity-based nonprofits.
